Before I answer that, age is the number one issue of the 21st Century. We are getting older! We don't have many kids. The average age is increasing. In country after country, from Asia to Europe, the birth rate has dropped significantly, resulting in fewer people
GDP Growth will stop almost everywhere. What chance does Japan or South Korea stand if the average age is 53 years old in 2050? The average age of China in 2050 is 46 years years old, with 350 million people over 65 years old. What do we do then with GDP growth? Shrink? Ouch.
I am in favor of "reproductive rights". It is a good thing that a sizeable percentage of women don't have to go through live fearing pregnancy. As a father who has got 5 daughters it is a relief. It is wonderful!
